Governor Laura Kelly Directs Flags be Flown at Half-Staff to Honor Wichita Firefighter Captain Larry D. Feuerborn.
In accordance with Executive Order #20-30, Governor Laura Kelly has ordered flags throughout the State of Kansas to be flown at half-staff on all state buildings, grounds, and facilities from sunup to sundown on Friday, January 13, 2023, in honor of Wichita Firefighter Captain Larry D. Feuerborn, a 44-year veteran of the Wichita Fire Department who passed away unexpectedly after responding to an emergency call in the line of duty on January 4.
